On November 19, 2011 Nails by Dedee participated in the Holiday Market at Landmark Academy. It was a great event meant to feature small businesses, while raising money for Landmark Academy. Nails by Dedee was able to provide discounted "Rock Star" Glitter Gel Toes to 20 visitors to the Holiday Market, and also met nearly 100 new people!
2nd ANNUAL TOES FOR THE CURE
Nails by Dedee is proud to announce te results from the 2nd Annual Toes for the Cure. On Saturday, October 15, 2011 Nails by Dedee held a special day for Breast Cancer Survivors. The day was catered by local Brighton businesses, Supper Solutions, The Bagel Bakery, and Village Inn. Each of the 20 survivors received gift bags filled with gifts that had been donated by local businesses.
Throughout the entire month of October, fundraising efforts were in high gear, raising money to be donated to the Oncology department at Platte Valley Medical Center. With the help of local businesses and the community, Nails by Dedee was able to double last years donation, and is please to announce that a check for $1200 was donated to PVMC Oncology Department!

Market Day 2011

On Saturday, August 14, 2011 the community of Brighton celebrated their Agricultural Heritage at the Anythink Library and Brighton Cultural Center. Market Day festivities included sales of produce from local growers, an educational symposium, food, art, music, activities and much more! It was a great day for local business owners to get out and meet the public and showcase their businesses! It was really awesome for Nails by Dedee to meet a lot of new people!
Culturefest 2011
Nails by Dedee, along with Shades Salon and Skin Pure
participated in Brighton's Culturefest.
Culturefest took place from 11am-5pm on Saturday, June 4, 2011 along Main Street and the Brighton Pavilions. It was a beautiful day for 1000's of people to come out and enjoy a day of live music, street vendors, kids activities and great food! Activities included business, community, safety and health expos, bike rodeo, car display, petting zoo, pony cart rides, fire trucks, carnival, hot dot eating contest, six additonal food eating contests, live entertainment and much, much more!
Culturefest is an annual outdoor celebration of the rich and diverse cultural traditions in Brighton. This is always a FREE event presented by the city of Brighton, the Brighton Cultural Arts Commission, and the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.
